Does anyone have a facebook account? Would you reccommend it? How is it different to myspace? A few friends said I should sign up, but I don't want to just set up another account somewhere if it is like myspace.

Yes; miles better because it's fucking easy to use and nice. You also don't get freaks adding you. Everyone on my facebook is a real-life friend, bar SammiJ - she's the exception to the rule though.

Can you only get friends through your email though?

I think Facebook is kinda boring. The only people you meet on there are people you already know, you rarely meet anyone new. That and they keep track of pretty much every post you make, change you make to your profile, etc. It's kinda scary because then EVERYONE who is your friend will know that "MissMe posted blah blah blah on Jeremy's Page" or whatever. I have one, but I rarely check it.

I have a Facebook account and I love it. Its primarily for the Barack Obama cmapaign though. He has an insane amount of support there.
