ladies (and gay guys, too)--could you date /marry an impotent man? not talking need viagra, but just can't get it up under any circumstance--could you whole-heartedly be committed to a non-sexual relationship?

No.
I mean, come on...what else are men good for?

Depends on the man.
If he'd allow me to go get what I need outside of that sexless relationship, probably.

Wait a sec, if he was filthy rich and wouldn't mind me getting hot sex elsewhere...ya sure, I could do it!

Yes. Because I'd have several other younger guys on the side of course. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

Actually, if I had it in me to be the Play Boy kind of girl, like Anna Nicole Smith RIP, if he was much older and I was a gold digger then sure. I would do it.
I do think she really loved him, but the money also had an effect. If there was a guy I truly fell in love with and wanted to spend the rest of my life with, and he had this problem, then again, sure, love is stronger than sex. Again, had I married someone and we had a strong healthy sexual relationship but then he had problems with impotency, I marry until death do us part, and I would stick by him through thick and thin. Life brings us obstacles and challenges each and every day, and if we can succumb to them, then we are the stronmger being. I do believe that alot of people marry for the wrong reasons.. Marriage is a life long partnership through good times and bad times. Again, if you were a woman and maybe after having a baby or any other experience and you or your body rejects sex at that time and moment, I think most females here, would expect their man to stand by them. Total rejection, may and can affect one's confidence for a long time. So work on those obstacles, I would feel 100% sexier, knowing my husband couldn't get it up but would try everything in the book and more to give me total satisfaction. Again, if the boot was on the other foot, I would do the same, and would not expect my husband, just as I was going through a bad sex life to feel he MUST go out and get his sex elsewhere. Providing of course, we talked about it and I was in the know.

Is it so big that it actually needs to be tied off and craned in order to work? I might be down with that 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I actually figured sex was about .05% sex since it seems that everyone who is married complains that they never get any.

I missed this part of the question... I could not commit myself to someone if I knew going into it sex would never be on the table, ever. As MissMe talked about, if I was with someone already and already committed, well, you work through what you can. I've made the commitment, I'm gonna get through whatever need be. But just cause a guy can't get it up doesn't mean we can't have a sexual relationship. |

Hell, sure why not.
As long as he has a squeaky clean butthole and looks good in hose, I'm game.

Hookers are usually intimidated by me because I'm always wearing a monocle.
I have to explain to them that it's only cosmetic. The primary purpose of donning one is to give the appearance of an increased intellengencia. "Ohh," they say " I thought it was cuz you wuz an impo'tent man or sumptin'...." "Nahhh...it's just the metaphorical equivalent of someone stuffin' a rolled up sock in one's own skull." I lightheartedly respond . And even though this is quckly followed by a long, accumulated-coke-induced, blank stare, I like to think that deep within their realty-withdrawn, deaden-tissued-encrustred heart, they're gigglin' with a child-like mirth.
