And sleepy, yes, lazy, yes. Being around stoned people can be boring because they're happy to be doing absolutely nothing. I know I never wanted to do anything when I smoked.

Some things that have come up:

Legality does matter, especially in the case of employers that mandate drug testing. It also removes a stigma for alot of people, and would make it accessable to those without a "dealer". It would also make it more affordable for some. Legality is an issue.

An interesting tidbit: Tobacco meets more of the criteria for a schedule 1 controlled substance than pot, but tobacco had a more powerful lobby and paid to criminalize their competition.

That's the very reason why I quite and have stayed away from the herb (till further notice) because all of my jobs did drug test. Plus, they changed the testing at some places from a pee test to a patch of hair

It almost is here in San Francisco. They actually can't bust you nor ticket unless they see you selling large quantities. If you are smoking it, they are supposed to turn a blind eye. I mean really...with all the clubs here and blatent selling of edibles at almost ALL of the street faires/festivals busting folks for pot is pretty pointless. Actually I think the criminalization of Pot is pretty pointless.

Also what arrests my attention is the blatent and rapant use amongst celebrities (along with other drugs). And the public (and police) seem to be indifferent to it. Like why isn't Lohan in Jail for possessing Cocaine?
