I was invited round some mates' house for dinner on Tuesday and - bearing in mind 3 out of four of them are vegetarian - I kinda figured they'd be cooking a veggie meal.

It was lovely but I'm sure I could've ate more if I hadn't stuffed my face with a bacon roll and 2 sausage sandwiches before I went. redface redface falloff

See? I don't understand that either. I eat meat just like I eat everything else but meat it's not air or water, damn it!
You can survive a day without meat, believe me, I do it all the time

I know giggle - but I had no idea what they were cooking before I went and I was hungry as it was. redface You know that feeling when you go around someone else's house and you're starving? It's the same as when you're freezing in somebody else's house? You can hardly raid their fridge or put the heating on. lol So I took precautionary measures. whistling mr.green

I think vegetarianism is like carbon offsetting. If someone doesn't eat their meat us meat eaters can buy their share of meat at a higher price and indulge guilt free smile

whatever makes your tenders twitch - just don't make me eat it!

I never liked it before, but it's become one of my favorites

Even w/o anchovies, the dressing is cream based, too, right? Also parmassean cheese.

To be fair, I guess he never claimed it was vegan.

yeah, it's got a lot of dairy going on. i don't pay as much attention to that being that i'm a strict vegetarian and not vegan...well, i'm kind of a vegan tourist...i am to veganism as people are to vegetarianism who say "i don't eat meat...except sometimes i need to have a cheeseburger!"

Anxy is to vegan as Carrie is to vegetarian.

i never keep snacky stuff IN my house except for fruits or veggies. cherry/plum tomatoes are good for when i just want to munch on something, so i keep those around. if i want chocolate, i gotta haul my ass outside, and i'm usually too lazy to do that, so i save myself the calories by sitting on my ass! thumbs up!

People who eat meat are omnivores, not carnivores, unless they soley eat meat and have nothing else in their diet.
