When I was little...

I thought dragons were real like dinosaurs.

What stuff did you think when you were a kid.

I thought brown was brownd

I thought napkin was nafkin

I knew santa wasn't real, but instead I thought there was something else that delivered the presents shrug

I used to think Prince was hispanic

I used to think inside mechanical pencils were little men who made the lead, and that they were constantly working and making more.
life is but a dream...

My grandma killed the whole santa fantasy for me when I was 5. She told my mother "stop lying to those kids" falloff

I thought when people said "hirsute" they were actually saying "hair suit."

I also thought it was the "licorice store," and not the "liquor store." This made perfect sense to me as on the rare occasions I accompanied my father to purchase beer (he rarely drank), the cashier would give me Red Vines. It just seemed right.

Imago

1. If I strapped enough cardboard packaging to my arms, I could fly

2. If I meditated long enough, I could have an out of body experience and fly to the moon and beyond

3. There were ghosts

We had a high wall near our drive way (About 5 feet which is tall for a second grader).

I had lots and lots of practice. Luckily I never got hurt--only disappointed.

When I was little, I used to write letters telling my secrets,to Marilyn Monroe and did let the note fall out from the window. I was sure she would get my message.

~ I could only say 'migley' when I wanted vinegar

~ I thought the charts were made up of cigar-chomping fat cats in boardrooms who voted on what their favourite release was

~ I could never work out why the charts went backwards, from 40 to number 1, when 40 was a higher number and clearly the best song on the charts

~ I knew monsters lived in the woods opposite my house

~ I wanted to grow up and be a waiter
