"Jet Lag"

Little angels
Whisper softly
While my heart melts
For you and I'll see
Only sunshine
Only moonlight
For the first time its real

And the higher you take me
The more that you make me
Feel so hazy
Tell me what this means

I got jet lag and I never even left the ground
See it's like that every time you come around
Oh, I'm so hung over and I never even touched a drop
See I can't get enough
This must be love

How the time flies
When you're near me
Get those butterflies
Inside and I'll be
Where the stars shine
Where the birds fly
'Till the next time you're mine

And the higher you take me
The more that you make me
Feel so hazy
Tell me what this means

I got jet lag and I never even left the ground
See it's like that every time you come around
Oh, I'm so hung over and I never even touched a drop
See I can't get enough
This must be love

Whenever you're with me
It feels like gravity
Ain't got no hold on me
Tell me what does this mean
This must be love
Love

I got jet lag and I never even left the ground
And it's like that every time you come around
I'm so hung over and I never even touched one drop
See I got jet lag

Baby don't cha know
You really really got it goin' on
Baby don't cha know
You really really got it goin' on
Baby don't cha know
You really really got it goin' on
Baby don't you know
Baby don't you know

I got jet lag and I never even left the ground
See it's like that every time you come around
Oh, I'm so hung over and I never even touched a drop
I never even left the ground
I never no no
Jet lag, jet leg

Any thoughts on sun stroke?

My knees are stiff, I'm sweating profusely, my heart rate is through the roof and I feel very lethargic. I've also been drinking beer for much of the last 4 days, so I'm thinking dehydration or maybe even sun stroke could be my problem. I've started drinking lots of water with this Thai sweet water in it and I'm beginning to feel a bit better, but earlier I was fucked. sad

Hello you! hug

Yeah, I think you're right. About 4 hours ago I felt absolutely terrible. I was just writhing around on my bed sweating. I drank as much water as I could and I started to feel much better, but now I feel bad again. I think I'm going to get some cold wet towels and lie down with them on me.

Do you have a/c? I've realized that it's not the intensity of the heat that gets me, but rather if I have to put up with heat for long periods of time without even a short break. In Japan I had no a/c at home, there was no a/c at work, no a/c on the trains etc. It was as if I was slowly baking in an enormous oven, and I could feel my sanity slipping away. Eventually I started going regularly to the local convenience store pretending to browse their selection of green tea just to feel some slightly cooler air on my skin, but their a/c was pretty feeble and only helped temporarily. My head starts spinning just thinking of those months.

lol redface

I have a stomach ache now and feel nauseous. I couldn't really rest easily, let alone sleep, so I'm just still drinking liquids regularly and trying to take it easy. I'd love to take a bath but we don't have one unfortunately. I did go down and wash my face and neck though. This sucks, but I've only myself to blame. I drank so much beer on Thursday and no water at all. Drank some water the next day and on Saturday but not enough, I guess. Saturday I was sunbathing for several hours and again today, and though I was drinking water most of the day, with a few beers later on I guess it was all still too much for my body. A couple of days looking after myself will hopefully get me back to 100% again. A lesson learned, me thinks.

Cool cloths on my head might help too.
Maybe some aspirin if you feel feverish might help too.
Awwww I hope you feel better soon. hug

Now if I bought a bike and I wanted a FAT tire on the back....what size should it be?

Does size matter when riding? lol

well it all depends on if you want speed or response...fatter tends to give more upright traction for speed whereas slightly thinner gives better angles and response.....so what do you want speed or agility? wink
