yup... that's how it happened

Christ, you think with all the money her family has that someone would've paid her damn bills. She's so spoiled - it seems as though she can't do anything for herself except order a cocktail.

yeah it's real... I believe that website The Smoking Gun obtained it somehow

If this is real, this drug can be used for many things. I have a friend that uses it for severe coldsores. It's the only thing that clears them up for her and it works. I think it's disgusting that people can get a hold of personal stuff like this. If it was any of us, we wouldn't want the entire world knowing what meds we are taking.

coldsores are HSV-1 in other words, Herpes. Valtrex is specifically for herpes - HSV-1 and HSV-2 (gential herpes)

Wait a minute, is this really a leaked prescription of medicine for someone? Doesn't anybody find it disgusting that this was leaked? Paris Hilton or not? I'm confused, is this fake? confuse

Ok. Still disgusting. Being celebrity has its up and downs, I suppose. BTW, the date of that prescription says 03/05/03, so that can hardly be why she's been sent home now.

It'll be great if she messes up her house arrest... 40 days at home is much better that 23 in the big house... but still, can she do it? shrug

Living in a castle, with servants? Being able to get everything she wants inside the house?

I'd say yes, she can do it. But she won't.

I was just joking about that. lol

I don't know what the medical reason was, but there is no cure for herpes so regardless of what the date on the prescription says, she would still have it now.

I don't think anyone really thought that's why she was sent home. I just think it's funny that she didn't pay a $300 bill and somebody made a million from it.

Paris Hilton -- Free Woman
TMZ has learned that Paris Hilton has not only had her sentence cut short, she is already out of jail!

Unimpeachable sources tell TMZ the deal was sealed yesterday, and that Hilton made her exit early early this morning.

She was originally sentenced to 45 days in jail, but that was reduced to 23. She served a total of three days.

The L.A. County Sheriff's Department will hold a news conference in an hour to discuss what went down.

http://www.tmz.com/2007/0...ree-woman/

Here is some more info from tmz:

Paris Hilton has been fitted for ankle bracelet and reassigned to house arrest, after authorities decided to release Hilton from prison due to medical reasons, this according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. spokesperson, Steve Whitmore.

Whitmore says he cannot release details about Paris' medical issue due to confidentiality.
[Edited 6/7/07 7:26am]
Okay. It's obvious that some strings were pulled from behind the scenes that we don't know about. You expect me to believe that Paris just happened to get sick enough from an undisclosed illness to get sent home to serve the rest of her sentence under house arrest. Yeah they'd sure enough do that for the average Joe on the street.

Yeah, there was definitely soe planning to this... I am sure she was advised if she were medically evaluated and not in "good health" - she could get a pass OUT and on house-arrest.

Not to come off as a Paris apologist here, but considering that she was sent to jail for violating her probation by driving on a suspended license (and she was not under the influence when she violated her probation), she was treated rather harshly compared to most people in southern California charged with the same crime. (Not to say that she didn't deserve to be punished.) Yes, there is most certainly a bit of class and racial privilege and unequal justice here with her sentence being reduced to house arrest, and before you start screaming about whether she would have been sent to jail for six months if her name was Shenequah or Laquisha, in most cases, the LA County justice system would have either given an extension of the probation, community service, or house arrest for a similar crime due to the fact that their jails are already overcrowded, mostly with non-violent offenders who got placed there with the draconian drug laws and three-strikes laws passed during the crack epidemic of the late 1980s and early 1990s. All of the press reports have been harping on Paris' mystery illness, but one of the networks noted that tons of papparazzi have been hanging outside the jail that Paris was being held at, and that they were making it unsafe for the police and correctional employees working there. They probably should have put her under house arrest and made her do community service in the first place, and it would have been more humiliating for her to be picking up roadkill off the Santa Monica Freeway instead of putting her in solitary confinement.

This is a DAMN shame! mad This worthless celebrity bitch gets to drive around town drunk, endangering the lives of others, and she doesn't even get punished. It was bad enough that her original sentence of 45 days got reduced to 23 days, and now she's out of jail in THREE DAYS?! I am so sick and tired of these talentless, worthless, celebrity media whores (add Nicole Richie to that list) who breaks laws and don't take this shit seriously. They think this is a joke.

If she got released because she has a medical condition - don't they have hospitals attached to the prison, Drs etc and surely a pharmacy. She could get treated for any medical condition and get it free. Perhaps she could have got a brain transplant whilst she was at it - she sure needs one. I have never seen such a waste of life and money going on such a dopey stupid twat! confused

if that's true they might as well throw open the doors cause they gave everyone a get out of jail card for free. when an inmate is suicidal you take away their belts shoelaces sheets mirrors and what have you...you don't release them...total BS!

It was not in vain...it was in Minneapolis!
