I live in the downtown core of a city and it's just teaming with wildlife - as is the case with pretty much every city. Just cuz you don't see them doesn't mean they are not there.

If you insist on killing them off do not use pesticides. It would be totally irresponsible if you did, not just for wildlife but for pets and even children.

Go organic.

Pesticides are practically banned here and will be totally banned soon. woot!

What can you use that is organic to get rid of weeds and harmful insects?

People can be so weird when it comes to their lawns. As long as it's cut short who cares if it's not perfect like a golf course.

Thank you.

Not to mention that the leaves are a nutritious vegetable and the roots are powerful medicine for your liver. nod

Tell that to my supervisor....he stresses so much about curb appeal that I have dreams about the stupid lawns! lol

I can't tell you how many times I found myself with a hoe in the backyard,
mowing her lawn,
all because of too much weed.

Rural.. its wild.. we get them every year.. it used to come in with its mum, but I think the mum bunny is dead now..

Its really dead cute.. and everytime I go in the garden it runs away, but its getting better now, it doesnt run as far and just hides in the flowers or bush.. and we just stare at each other eek

mushy

I wish it would just fuck off in a way, cos its gonna get shot soon.. sad
