Thats my stuff. Show me yours. [Edited 5/28/07 15:54pm] Put those bloody pots and glasses away MR ..they are not 4 decorative purposes I don't even like all my cabinet doors to be glass front. It's a beautiful look when done well but very hard to maintain I imagine. Too much tidying up in the cupboards all the time. And the fingerprints *ugh* I'm firmly planted in denial

Second of all, its not a ashtray, its a bowl that my ex fiance made for me in a ceramics class in college, Its one of the few things of hers that I did not throw away. Its a very nice dish and I like it. First, your ex fiancee was a stoner because she made you an ashtray. Second, you don't think CalhounSq knows what a ramekin is? I don't know how to take that - does he think I'm too good to have worked in a restaurant or just too stupid to know? And yea, that shit is an ashtray - bowls don't have dips like that

It's not ugly & even if you don't like the look of it at least you have lots of SPACE

i know what a ramakin is! i used to date someone who refered to everything in the kitchen as a ramakin. bowls, saucers, even cups. i finally had to look it up so i knew what was a ramakin and what wasn't. i'm probably misspelling it. oh well.

the counters are faux leatherette formica and the cupboards are somehow a pink version of beige but yes, lots of space, which I need and manage to make a big mess of every day.

It really is very pretty! I'm firmly planted in denial
