Steak: rub with little bit of cracked pepper and rock salt, sear on grill for a couple minutes each side, serve mooing.

Salmon: grill and feed to cat
.

lol

Salmon is good for your intestinal tract. Helps keep you regular. I will do that stuff with steak right now. I have cracked pepper but will have to use sea salt instead of rock salt. I may also make a honey lemon bbq glaze.!

You can marinate salmon in just about any good oil and vinegar dressing. I had a bbq salmon recently that was super yummy though too.

Sounds yummy, does olive oil do it justice?

sea salt works.

I like fish, but not salmon, for some reason. i really wish i did like it, because it seems to be the only fish offered at most restaurants around here. sigh

I don't cook salmon often, or ever really. I just watch people do it. lol (I don't buy any kind of meat to cook in my own house.)
But just olive oil doesn't sound like enough to me.

I don't suppose you have any cedar planks lying around the house. if so, you can rub down that fish with a little evoo, salt and pepper to taste, place it on a cedar plank and put the plank directly on top of the coals. cook for maybe five minutes. that tastes good (except for the salmon part).
