Just saw it, loved it, buying the soundtrack. But I have a question for those who stayed passed the credits. Is the little boy at the very end the same character as the little boy in the beginning? Since I wasn't able to stay to see the beginning again to establish a timeline, this is now bugging me.

That thought crossed my mind.

We'll see when POTC 4 comes out. There were 2 movies done back to back, POTC 3 and 4. Stay tuned.

I wondered if there would be a 4. When I went in I thought that this was the last one, but I see they left themselves room, but at the same time if that one character is the same they also gave themselves closer. Kind of weird and well thought out.

Okay, it looks like it's two separate kids Brendyn Bell and Dominic Scott Kay. Then I would say POTC 4 it is if this one does well, which it might be iffy since the storyline seems so confusing to a lot of people.
