Okay, I just finally saw this movie. I'd been looking forward to finally sitting down and seeing it as I tend to like Sandra Bullock's more supernatural oriented films (Practical Magic, The Lake House).

However, the ending to this one really pissed me off. I hate movies where you sit there for 2 hours trying to figure out a puzzle of a plot and then the end comes and totally negates the previous 2 hours of effort.

I so hope there's a DVD with an alternate ending. Grrrrr

I was still confused at the end of this movie

I understood the movie okay, I think, once I realized how she was living the week out of order... but all her efforts didn't actually help produce a more positive ending and, indeed, her actions not only essentially led to the same result but, also, caused her older daughter's accident which didn't originally happen.

I think they were going for that "cherish what you have while you still have it angle" but it left me very cold after enjoying the rest of it.
