On the subject of newest topics...It used to be that when ever I logged on there was never 25 new topics started, but lately people have been starting threads like mad so if I want to see all the new threads I actually have to into the forums. I've been itching to start the next marching band competition thread, but I must be considerate of the tens of thousands of other orgers who just don't give a fuck about band, according to Ian. Hi, Ian.  -------

I'm quite sure that with topic names such as "RCHS Competition Results 9/14/02 - LONG" that not very many people are opening the thread by accident. I think he thinks that his opinion is the only valid opinion.

Bloody hell BBMD, 2000 posts!!! That is quite quite scary, and it is of course worth marking the occasion in some way. Although if everyone starts racing towards that 2000 mark it could get very messy indeed.
Anyway this thread isn't going anywhere - people "upping" their post count in the forums isn't something to be encouraged too much - aside from the detrimental effect on your social lives, it doesn't lend itself towards creating good discussion on the forums. So as expected, locking the thread. I'm not deleting the thread though, so the high score still counts OK! | |

I was requested to do this by several people, and I stand by my decision. I think it's a very reasonable request. | |
