What do you expect, nLA? I think you're a lovely person!

This makes me think...What good do I actually do of a day? Is performing in marching band considered a good deed? A real treat? For those who appreciate music, perhaps.

I bought someone a cotton candy, actually, and paid for my friend who drives me around's gas. But, do I actually do as much good for others as they do for me? Unlikely.

I'm a miserable specimen. biggrin

Of course you're not a "miserable specimen", silly! razz Sometimes it takes awhile before a person is in a position to do something nice for another... smile

We're a real treat, Another! love

We sho is, Battier! wink And so is nLA! smile

Yeah, nLA is. Funny man, and intelligent. I say we split him in half. You can have the bottom.

TheC is indeed a good person. He's the first person to befriend me at the org, the first person who replied to anything I had to say, as I recall, and he's always been nice to me, even when I've been bitchy to him. He shall be missed! LAc appreciates theC even now!

theC has decided to close his account due to certain frictions within the org...
"I'm spending way to much time in here" 'when it can affect me on a personal level.' is about how he put it to me.

He's gone. He couldn't take the bullshit any more, the insults, the unfair moderation as well, I suppose. His account oughta disappear any day now. Vaporized. Gone.

Freespirit

This is shared with beautiful enlightenment...heart

When my two older sister's and I were very young, we were taken away legally from our mother. (beautiful sigh... I truly believe that everything happens for a reason)rose We were sent to an orphanage (I was 3 yrs.), I remember well.rose My great aunt and uncle decided to take us into their care and gained full custody of us eventually. (immense love) The amazing (unfounded word of expression) is... my aunt and uncle at the time were divorced, although when my great aunt decided she could not bare us to be seperated (who knows where we would of ended up) my uncle decided to help her raise us... they literally gave their life to us. roseheart (They never had children of their own) So... growing up..., although they truly never got back together... "together" they supported us with their amazing unconditional love.heart (warm beautiful sigh)

I am forever indebted to them, that is beyond expected, how fortunate and blessed we truly were/are... I love them more than "life" itself... for they are the one's who made my life so beautifully possible to this day. Everyone is born... but to truly be nutured, loved and supported no matter what... is the true "gift" of life. (And they didn't have to... by no means)(warm smile)

why as a matter of fact, melody has written to me, just to say hello, and that does it for me every time. nod

Hey what about when you found out about me? I was unexpected.

Back in my teens I had a child who I gave up for adoption and I ran into the woman who adopted her a few years later. The woman allowed me to see my child even though it's angainst everything the courts say after you give a child up for adoption.

Too beautiful Freespirit… keep counting those blessings that have made you to be the lovely person you are rose

Well... I have been blessed with many acts of kindness being shown to me in my life, and hopefully I have shown that in turn to others...

But most recently...and what is most clear in my mind is something simple… a certain someone caught me at a most vulnerable moment, (no matter how strong we are, we all have our moments eh?!) and he quite miraculously lifted my mood, and brought perspective back to a person who had momentarily lost her defenses. Not only by sharing his words of encouragement, but just by listening… in that beautiful way he does … openly and compassionately… He consoled and soothed me, in a moment where I thought I was beyond reaching… and where I was certainly not expecting someone to be able to transform what I was feeling into something beautiful.

Thank-you Moonbeam kiss … for all that, and more….. I won’t forget it…. I can’t forget it…. You amaze me.

(And evidently I am not alone in this appreciation of the wonder that is you)

Many nice and unexpected things have some people throught my life and in bad times for me. Also foreingers man and woman... can't count nor tell... thank you - Love exists.

One thing happend to me this week at the suprmarket. I went there buying some food and a woman with a baby came in my direction. A little thing. Sweat...
At the case I was waiting when both came she had only 1 article and so I did let her go first.
Then the woman was looking for the papa, but papa wasn't there. She looked at the baby and looked at me and gave me that little thing in to my arms love awww! A girl all in rosa... so süss wie caramel. The girl was a newborn, maybe 2 or 3 weeks. It was shocking for me first as her mama putted she me in my arms. Short before I carried an 8liter bottle of water and the diffrence between this weght and the weght of the baby waas extreem felt. for a second other thoughs cames in to my mind. I thought about the babies soffering malnutrition and became sad for a short moment... then joy cames in me to hold that beutiful, little girl in my arms and feel the peace only babies and children can give. Thank you Mama, thank you Dad! Thank you Creator of Creation. I love you.

Most spcial for me was... should I say it? - I know you do care and do care to... love the baby is an African girly, so small and innocent. love It was the first time I could hold a newborn African baby in my arms, you knnow... I did always wished to give born one. smile pray or two... like this girl I did hold for the precieus time of a few seconds. A feather weight with more value as it can count the world for money.

my cat who was 20 years old, was dying on a rug across the room.
He new eye was grieving, and he dragged himself across the room, though he had stopped walking and moving 4 daze, and laid his paw on my foot...
eye cried, and asked him r u leaving me Tannon?
he mewed weakly, like a kitten, and laid his head on my foot, it gave me a sense of emotional peace.
eye would keep watch with him until the dawm...
when eye awoke, that morning, refreshed, eye found that Tannon had returned 2 his rug n the night and had slipped n2 a coma.

n the middle of his dying, he only wanted 2 make sure eye was ok...that was the way he always was...never bit or scratched anyone, babies could pull his tail, or box his ears, he never hurt anything...
he lived a long and eventful life...he was no ordinary cat.

For Valentine's day, my wife took me to the drum department of Mars Music and told me to pick out whatever I want.

I got some good chimes.

(BTW, my wife doesn't really care for my drumming and for her to take interest in what I like was something that even my parents didn't do when I was a kid (as far as my love for music). Then again if I were my parents, I wouldn't have bought me a drum set either unless it was set up in the barn.)
