Nothing important - just wanted 2 let u all know i'm coming to LA this week from Australia for my 1st US holiday - woohoo!

I'll be going to Vegas and San Fran too - any suggestions from any orgers on places 2 go / things 2 do are more than welcome. I doubt whether there is anything 'Princey' to do though...

When you're in Vegas i recommend staying at the MGM on the Strip. They have 5 or 6 pools, with a lazy river that connects all the pools. Keeps the heat of the sun off you during the day(they have adults only pools too-if you want more peace and quiet).

Like 'Paris Las Vegas' has a scaled down Eiffel Tower, each hotel has their own attraction--constantly competing with one another.
A fun event to watch is "The Battle at Buccaneer Bay" at the Treasure Island hotel and they perform the show every day, every hour and a half--starting at 5PM right outside the hotel. It only lasts for 10-15 minutes but it's a lot of fun (they have a decent buffet too)

In the MGM, they have the dance club "Studio 54" a replica of the now famous nightclub in NYC. Be ready for a line outside of about 20-50 people dressed to the nines.

Every hotel has gambling of course, but if you want to win once in a while--go to the older "Downtown" strip. I actually liked this area better because it has a history of sorts--while the newer Strip seems about 2 yrs old.
Try to go downtown at night because there is a lazer light show over the strip that is the bomb.
And while we never won any $$ on the Strip, we did win some at Binions Casino and even watched a movie being filmed there.

(tip: you don't need a car in Vegas, everything on the strip is within walking distance-- and Downtown and the airport are a short cab ride away from the main Strip)

Go to the Grand Canyon...it's not far from Vegas...like 4 hours or something...maybe 2?

As long as you stay away from N.Y, you should be in a free zone, just kidding. I think our nerves get worked up sometimes. Sadly, but true, sometimes when I hear airplanes flying overhead really close, I get kind of scared...

But it ain't that bad over here. Everyone is living like usually. I wanna go to Cali too, so I hope you have a lot of fun!
