Is it uncomfortable for you to discuss this topic ?

If you are a female is Is it uncomfortable for you to discuss the topic of periods with a boyfriend, husband, or even children?
Is it weird for you to ask your bf or husband to run errands and get that pack of tampons or pads?
Was it weird teaching your daughter about that time of the month?
For the males, is it just weird to know that your gf, wife, daughters go through this?
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

No. It is just part of life.
For something that happens every month during most of a woman's life, cannot be uncomfortable. That thought is uncomfortable. I guess I am just ok with it.

No, no, and no.
Another question might be: is it difficult for men to discuss erectile dysfunction?
Even the most virile men poop out on occasion. wink

The man I spent 5 years with had no problem with discussing this stuff. He was a good man. He bought pad/tampons when I needed them.I gotta say I had a huge problem discossing that stuff with my dad. Even to this day I don't talk about that stuff with my dad.

Why is it that women are quick to tell you that they're NOT on their period just because they seem mad, but if you ask them how old they are, how much they weigh, or if their bra and panties match then they're ready to pull your heart out through your foot?

He tried but I put the brakes on that real quick. Like, " Pops, there are just some things that are off limits with you and me." That was the same thing I said when it came to discussing my son's father.

Can anyone explain to me how when women start living together, their menstrual cycles get in synch? I have no idea why this happens and it really bothers me!

it has something to do with our sense of smell.
We can apparently smell things without smelling them. Women are miraculous,

Is it wrong that that totally grosses me out?

I still can't see how it would work though. Is there a dominant female that determines when all the other females should have their period?

Some science dude somewhere needs to study this!

Some science woman should study it. Seems like science dudes just try to make it seem like it is all in our heads. Everytime I had a female roommate, our periods would eventually synchronize. My best friend and I can always time our periods within a week of each other. It's crazy but very interesting, at least to women it is. That dominant female question is very interesting. Like the Alpha female's scent changing the menstrual cycle of the beta females? Very "Wild Kingdom" indeed.

It's more than just living together. My closest co-worker and I are on the same cycle.

I used to work in a clinic full of women. We started to synch up. It was scary. lol

I read somewhere that that's a myth and doesn't really happen, but it's SUCH a common experience that I have trouble believing that.
