Ex-Moderator | usually just a big awwwww...
I like holding hands. I'm usually quite happy and content if I'm holding hands with someone. |

It makes me jealous because I don't have anyone to hold my hand [Edited 7/8/07 9:38am]

It doesn't usually stir a mental thought though a soft simple smile always comes to me
and that's not just couples ... children hold hands parents hold their kids hands hands are for holding

Don't be afraid to show you love somebody... simply show in the simple things that you do. Be not afraid!

i will always and forever have the image in my mind
from when i was in highschool of my surrogate grandparents going home from church down my village's old wooden boardwalk, walking hand in hand they would have been in their 80's when they were in their 90's and she had dementia, the only thing that was a calming constant for her was her husband's face - she immediately would reach for his hand damn i am emotional today i miss them both.

I think that they are either married or in a long term romantic relationship.

Such a sweet couple. That's what I had in mind when I used to believe in soulmates. Maybe...they do exist.

I get kinda mad because it is something taken for granted. For instance, not everyone can do it so non-chalantly or as care-free as others. To do it without anyone thinking anything would actually be ideal.

agreed. When I saw two men do it here in Tampa, I said to myself "You go girls!" because even the city itself is relatively tolerant, the county the city is in, is totally not. I mean, Hillsborough County gave birth to fucking Rhonda Storms! Simple things are taken for granted like Marriages that spouses so terribly let fall apart or become dishonest with. Hell there are married folks on the org right now that are hooking up with other orgers I don't think a bunch of gay men wanting to marry will do a damned thing to harm or preserve the institution of marriage straight people have been fucking up forever.

co-sign... I completely agree, I love PDA. I've only had that feeling once and with one person (so far) I couldn't not touch him, him/his skin...he felt so good to me.

Holding hands is not my thing...I guess I'm one of them soldier chicks ha ha.
I may put my hand on your arm a bit. I'm just wierd like that. I think PDA can be a little lame and I guess I don't do what I think I find lame. I'm so special
