The parade kicks off at 1030am Sunday morning on Ocean Ave.

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are number 60 featuring Sisters from LA, SD, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Mother House San Francisco

Sunday's mainstage includes Nemisis, Amber and Jennifer Hudson.

i could whip up something for Pride week

Saturday was a bit of a lazy morning. Laid in bed reading and listening to music. Got up about 1 to start packing for the evening and the weekend since I was coming home after the general meeting. We had our genral meeting at elevated Ashely and Evelyn from Postulant to Novice. That now makes membership at 15 Black Veil Sisters, 2 Guards, 3 Novices, 2 Postulants and 2 Sentries. From there it was off to Amanda's house for stuffing and painting. She made a faboluous Komono Dress out of Tiger Print!! First stop was Bourbon Street then Urban Mo's and Flicks followed by Military Madness at Montage. Just from my tally we handed out 500 condoms, 200 safety cards and 50 of my business cards. We got back to Amanda's at 3am, and by the time I changed my veils and cleaned my face it was about 345am, and time for bed. We got up at 515am to start loading up the cars and heading heading to Long Beach.

I rode up with Evelyn and Ashely and Frida, Donna Mae rode with Amanda. In my car we played spot the Marine or Salior on their way to Long Beach Pride. It's a fairly easy game to play. Watch who drives by, and look in the car and if two or more Marines or Saliors on the 405 heading north from Camp Pendleton at 7am Long Beach Pride morning more than likely they are queer. We got a little lost on the way to Titiana's house but we eventually found it. As I was unloading the car I spotted a house with Pink Flamingo and a Fiberglass Jaguar. I screamed I need I needed a photoshoot and head inside. Tits, Sugah, Perky, and Shameless were there too. I struggled to find the engery to get ready but I found it, and Tits Shameless and myself went and did a quick photoshoot with the Pink Flamingo.

The parade was starting at 1030 I think we got to the parade at 1040. Unity, Maggie, Erotica, Buffy, Dirrtie, Mary Kohn, Sioux from Vegas, Nora, Nvc Maragret Nvc Millie and two from AZ were there as well. It took us about an hour to get through the entire parade route, and I believe I was next to last to finish Mary Kohn and Unity came in at the same time. I fell once goosestepping with Shameless, and managed to upset the Imperial Court of Orange County who was behind us, by always stopping in front of them for my p
hoto ops. We also managed a great group shot in front of the fundies.

That is one thing about Pride that is a bit surreal. It is a day to feel like celebrity. Everyone stoppjng us on the parade or in the festival to ask for pictures. People lining up to take pictures, just surreal.
