An Almost Close Encounter With A Pit Bull Man!!!!
I was in my back yard, wave to my neighbors 2 houses down. Only seen them. Just about to start the mower. Heard a bark...Looked up And an danggone pit bull was on his way to my yard.... I was like, "Ohhhh Sh*t!!! Man!!! You talk about somebody running his butt off 
He never made it to my yard. I guess the neighbor stop him before he got any further. Neighbor apologize tho'... He stated that he didn't know the dog could hop a fence.. I told him, "Hell, I did!!"

 Today I've been bitten by a dog for the first time in my life.
I'm OK though. It was a dwarf dog and I was with my headphones on so I didn't hear it coming. | |

he probably would have just licked you, pitbulls are not as vicious as they are sold to be... but yes they can jump an 8-10 foot fence clear in one leap. i found that out the hard way.
your neighbour should make ammends to prevent this from happening in the future. are you ready for submission

actually they are very intelligent dogs, with great athletic ability and tenacity. most probably the ones in your town are not pure breeds, or come from poor breeding stock from back yard breeders. which is why you may have come to your conclusion, i am not sure.. are you ready for submission

i got attacked once by a pitbull when i was 5(in mexico),i had to go the hospital which was like about 20 miles from where we stayed. i had to get like about 5 different shots and stitches on my thigh(which i found really weird were it bit me) | |

A pit bull lives down the street. He's constantly roaming,frolicking,sniffing the flowers in my back yard.
When he sees me he runs away. "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

I had a similar encounter a few months back but with 3 german sheaprds haha. I was right outside my grandmas bungalow, and these dogs just appeared from the garden of the next house. I ran and put my back to the door and stuck my leg up in a ready position to kick (I do martial arts), the dogs just turned and went after a few seconds and that was that!
