There are more details and work than a wedding (at least it seems so to me.....we have been planning and preparing since September 2006) and I am probably going to go broke....but she is more than worth it! I opted for a trip from my parents and a car when I was 15. I got the trip that summer, but I got the car in senior year of high school. I like the deal! I am not too much into quincenera things now and neither when I was 15. However, my aunt and uncle have three daughters each a year apart and so far they have two quinceneras down and possibly one more to go, but I think the youngest daughter just wants a regular house party, pictures, a trip to Mexico, and a Church reception with her dress and attended by family members in Mexico. Yeah, so my aunt and uncle are fearing that she will want a quincenera party because now they are broke! I wish you were my daughter  .
I am not sure why my oldest is so dead set on having her Quince, but she is. We even offered to have it in Mexico which would have been much easier (my five sister-in-laws in Guadalajara would have loved to take care of all the plans and details) and cheaper for us. She wouldn't go for that either. I have three daughters also, but at least there is 5 years in between my oldest and my middle daughter so we have some time to recover. Then our youngest is two years behind her. I could not imagine having three Quinceneras in three consecutive years! We are already working on my younger two, but I fear that after they see their big sisters Quince, they will want one also. My middle one is already talking about having her Quince, but in Mexico. . Nothing concrete planned at the moment. My birthday's on the 29th of July though, Mon's is on July the 8th, and June 23rd is the anniversary of when Mon and I first hooked up, so I'd like to go to the beach for a few days at some point around then. | |

I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Oh yeah, and if all goes well, I'm gonna travel more: Texas, Minneapolis, and Ohio.

I have never been to Monterrey Mexico but I hear it is very nice. We mostly go to Guadalajara, Michoacan, and the West Coast (Ixtapa, Vallarta, Las Penitas). "Always blessings, never losses......"

I have never been to Monterrey Mexico but I hear it is very nice. We mostly go to Guadalajara, Michoacan, and the West Coast (Ixtapa, Vallarta, Las Penitas). Monterrey is awesome! I have been to Saltillo, Torreon, Lerdo,Durango,Laredo, Sabinas Hidalgo, Real de 14, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Morelia, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, and other smaller towns. I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.
