i hate QT too, but if enough people i like recommend something to me, i'll give it a chance, regardless of who's name is attached to it. i liked the kill bill movies a lot. i think when tarantino is tethered to earth by a collaborator, he can actually be good. the kill bill movies were as much uma's creation as his, and i think that's what made them so good. i thought maybe QT had matured, then i saw grindhouse and realized...no, he still sucks.

I liked it cuz her presence as an evil caracter was so surreal to me...
She always reminds me of that lame 'mermaid' film with Tom Hanks

her character. Kill Bill introduced me to the 5,6,7,8's too.....cool little girl band.

Dead Alive is up there as the bloodiest movie too, but being a horror,I figured it would be. Peter Jackson directed it too. I don't know if he ever mentions it since he hit it big with Lord of the Rings. I wanna learn how to do the move that Uma did on Bill at the end for self defense. I get worried that I may be in a situation where I'd have to defend myself.

It's a zombie movie, so I personally liked it. The blood was like Kill Bill.....ridiculously fake, but that's what I liked about it. The cheesiness. I'll just say that this movie involves a lawnmower as a weapon. It's a silly movie that gets compared to Evil Dead a lot, so if you like that, then you might get a kick out of this.
