Now "Mellow" on the other hand... and of course, in true form, i LIKE mellow. It's my very least favorite Prince song of all time. First, it has no place on a concept album like The Rainbow Children. It has nothing to do with the theme. Second, I think it reeks of the Prince trend lately trying too hard to look cool and hip. Name checking Macy and Common makes me want to retch. Third, I think it's flat out boring. Not pleasant like many of his other non-descript ballads, but paint-dryingly boring. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

I love "The War" too, but "Mellow" is just bland, bland, bland and trying way too hard to be cool. I feel like yelling at him to act his age and quit trying to sit at the cool table. The arms of Orion that's where I wanna be Since U've been gone I've been searching 4 a lover In the Sea of Tranquility I'm drowning without U here, my dear 'When I am lost and feeling alone' 'I just look to heaven' 'I find my comfort there' 'God only knows where U are 2 night'

Yes I know guys. I put it in the wrong forum. Sorry. America's political system used to be about the "pursuit of happiness." Now more and more of us want to stop chasing it and have it delivered.
