I just finished watching "dancer in the dark" in case you didn't know this is my second time watching. Also the lead character of this movie is "Bjork". i truly do love this movie. all three us(my cousins,my mother and myself) like the movie very much. i always get rather teary-eyed at the end( sorry if it might sound silly) who else saw this movie?

When did this movie come out? I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

This is still the only film, i know, that made me cry. At the end, but also when she is in jail and het friend is telling her they can use the money for a lawyer.
Some critics say it's a anti-america movie. I don't see that. She moved to the US for the operation.

Everytime your kids wanted to go pee. I cry then too I didn't take the kids - that is really not a movie for kids under 10. Just me and the master went. I cried each time the guy pulled out the photo of his sick daughter

I think it was too manipulative to be touching. Von Trier is one of the best directors in the world but this time he really tried to squeeze out audience tears just for the sake of it. Danish press dubbed it "emotion porn".

This flick is next on my NetFlix queue. I've wanted to see it for a long time, but I knew how sad it would be so I put it off. But another orger recently turned me on to Bjork, so I thought it was time I watched. The preview alone makes me sad.

after the first time i saw it in the theater, i had to walk around the block twice before i could stop weeping - the second time i saw it, i took a friend and she threw up halfway through. it's not something you'd rent for a kid's birthday party, let's just put it that way.

During my "Bjork 101" education this week, I listened to "I've Seen It All" and knowing the basic premise of the movie, the song really got me. So, I Netflixed it immediately. Well, after "Pan's Labyrinth" which I'm watching tonight.
"I've Seen It All" is a great, haunting song.

I like it just because Courtney Cox (her very first on-camera appearance ever, I believe) & "The Boss" are doing that very typical "white" people dance.

My brother and I saw it opening weekend and it took us a few hours to recover. We were just sitting in the corner of Denny's sobbing openly. I can understand why Bjork never wants to do another proper movie again.
