Apparently Matt Damon is in the middle of negotiating the film. what do you think? i think Matt is too metrosexual for the role. it needs someone a bit more gruff.

Green Arrow's one of the lamest heroes ever created, as dumb as Mr. Fantastic. Who's going to see this nonsense? They should work on Green Lantern.

Why make films featuring B-List superheroes? No one's going to see it except the five hardcore Green Arrow fans. Concentrate on the big guys(Supes, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern). WB could introduce GA in a Justice League movie, but he can't carry a film on his own.

And that costume would look really goofy on the big screen.

And...ummmm....sorry, but Green lantern is nowhere near as "mainstream" as Superman or Batman. The only reason non-comic geeks would know about him is cuz of the Justice League cartoons, just like Green Arrow.

I don't know the character, but Damon got all the acting talent when he and Affleck were bourne.

Personally i think it needs to be someone like (and god forgive me for saying this) Denis Oleary. He needs to be a crabby smart ass. I'm not sure if Denis O'Leary has the acting chops to pull it off butyou get the idea.
