Last night Mary made this crazy vegan raw dessert thing that ended up being to fucking DIE for. Nutty brownie bars with almond fudge sauce and a spoonful of this coconut walnut cream stuff. Incredible. drool

Why am I telling you this?

I think I really do have PMS. . .

usually the words "vegan" and "raw" next to each other make me recoil, but that description sounds super duper drool

I know, it sounds really scary, I agree. But it was amazing.

Good for you for being financially and nutritionally responsible. And now having ice cream to look forward to. nod lol

that's totally ridiculous. think of all the money you could be saving! i mean, with the money you spend eating out in one week, you could probably buy an entire carton of cigarettes. think practical!

good point. i think i'll give up eating and just smoke full-time.

but actually, lunch is usually my best meal of the day. there are a lot of quality lunch joints in the hood. it's usually dinner where i do the cheap eats

i really don't like lunch much at all as a meal. it's like a less inspired version of dinner. smaller portions, usually served cold, makes ya sleepy in the afternoon. i'm gonna just have red bull and smokes for lunch from now on.

I almost always bring a lunch with me. Every once in a while on a Friday I'll go get food from someplace around here...usually Subway. The China Star restaurant is pretty good, too. They have the most awesome General's Chicken. drool

Same here. I don't cook. I can, but I don't. It's so damn expensive to go out and eat though.

i work all day long so i don't feel bad about buying food someone else took the time to prepare. besides, the stuff i bring just never looks as appetizing as the visions of fish sandwiches and fried foods that dance through my head.

right now i have a pile of stuff i brought for lunch in the freezer and i still went out for a bite to eat.

I sued to make sandwiches for school lunches, but now I just don't like to.
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

I do this ALL the time. nod

I make lunch and I either (A) forget to take it in with me or (B) get to work and think 'I just want a Subway/Greggs pasty/something tasty'. Whatever I take in never seems as appetising. lol

And I really struggle to get up early enough to make lunch. I can't make it the night before, it *has* to be made that day. It doesn't taste he same.
