I was super responsible and packed my own lunch for work today...

...AND I DON'T WANT TO EAT IT!!!

I made egg salad on pumpernickel with a smear of mango chutney and a leaf of red leaf lettuce, with a side of chips and an oatmeal bar for dessert.

BORING!!! neutral

i want FRENCH FRIES and PIZZA and ICE CREAM and CAKE. nod

i may end up wasting my bag lunch and my money if i don't behave.

anyone pack anything good for lunch today? wanna trade?

Hahaha! That happens to me all the time! I'll pack fruit, a sandwich on wholewheat bread, and some salad. By the time lunch rolls around, my homemade meal looks boring, and I go out for Thai food instead! lol So much for saving $.

my justification for that is, "oh well, i'll eat it tomorrow and i won't even have to pack another lunch in the morning!"

I have homemade chicken gumbo in my lunch today -- which is perfect, given that it's a cold and rainy day.

But I forgot to put the okra in it. sad

that's totally ridiculous. think of all the money you could be saving! i mean, with the money you spend eating out in one week, you could probably buy an entire carton of cigarettes. think practical!

Last night Mary made this crazy vegan raw dessert thing that ended up being to fucking DIE for. Nutty brownie bars with almond fudge sauce and a spoonful of this coconut walnut cream stuff. Incredible. drool

Why am I telling you this?

I think I really do have PMS. . .

This is killing me because this whole thread is basically my daily internal dialog.

falloff

I buy lunch every day. I think I've packed my lunch twice in the year I've been here and didn't want it by the time lunch rolled around.

You went through the trouble of packing it....eat it...then go get pie after work!

thumbs up!

That happened to me all the time....so I gave up bringing my lunch (that and I'm always late for work in the morning and don't have time to prepare it).

Because my new office is adjacent to a gallery with "art" we are not allowed to eat at our desks so I usually (okay, always) skip lunch. neutral But I've dropped 2 sizes because of it. biggrin
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

usually the words "vegan" and "raw" next to each other make me recoil, but that description sounds super duper drool
