Stop bitchin' - you know it's not as clear as all that (gave them a game ) even if you do think what went down favoured the Spurs. You're acting like David Stern personally booted the whole Suns team in the crotch one by one and then declared game 5 a win for the Spurs without a ball being bounced.

When Baron Davis dunked, Dallas was still playing hard and still had a very slim chance of winning. Baron's dunk sealed it. When Okur tried to dunk, the Warriors had stopped playing and the games outcome was not in doubt. Okur was the one who showed no class! . [Edited 5/17/07 6:54am] So Jason Richardson is the modicum of class by clotheslining someone and yelling at him to stop being a pussy? Right.... Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Bottom line....Okur should have never tried to dunk in that situation. If he had done what he was supposed to, it would not have happened. But Okur did and he paid the price and learned a valuable lesson. I bet he will never do that again. Probably 90% of the players in the NBA would have done the same to Okur. I'm really sad for the Phoenix Suns. I would have rooted for Utah against Phoenix anyway, but I feel the Suns, and NBA fans in general, were robbed of a potentially epic series. The Suns were basically stripped of their legitimate chance to win the series with the ridiculous suspensions. I understand that rules are rules, but they should be applied with common sense. With one cheap shot, Robert Horry basically won the series for the Spurs. I'm not saying San Antonio would not have won anyway, but imagine the dynamics of the series had Phoenix been at full strength for Game 5. That Stoudemire and Diaw were suspended for the SAME INFRACTION committed by the unpunished Duncan and Bowen in the same game, on top of the lenience the NBA showed Bowen with his knee in the nuts to Nash and his kick of Stoudemire's ankle really makes this series win tainted for the Spurs. The winner of this series was sure to be the favorite to win the championship, and NBA fans deserved a chance to watch these two elite teams battle in a fair fight. I fully expect the rules to be revised next season, because Stu Jackson and David Stern exhibited NO common sense in their rulings in this series. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! I am very disappointed in how the Suns' season ended. This was the Suns' year to get to the Finals and it seemed like they were robbed.

When I complained about the lack of common sense rules in '97, all the Knick haters laughed at me and told me to get over it. Turns out I was right.

I wish Van Gundy was back coaching the Knicks. He knows defense and rebounding are the keys to winning. It's not his fault the Rockets don't have a legit PF or PG, or that Yao is soft.

Actually, I'm hoping for a Pistons-Spurs finals. They play old-school basketball - smart, team offense and tough, hard-nosed defense.

Jazz lose a tough Game 1 on the road.
I do think they learned a lot in Game 1 and can come back strong in Game 2. This series will be interesting. San Antonio is the old neighborhood bully and Utah is the new kid. San Antonio punched first, but we'll see how lasts longer. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! I don't get a lot of these so-called 'fans'. They prefer college ball over the NBA because of the style of play. Now you have the possibility of a Spurs-Pistons final - two teams that play old-school team ball. Yet they're described as "boring". WTF?
