Even though Jazz/Warriors won't get a lot of press(compared to Suns/Spurs), it's a very interesting series because of the different styles. I can't pick this one - too close to call.

I'm telling you...the Warriors are for real! The only thing that might stop the Warriors in this series is if Baron Davis' hammy doesn't hold up.

I want to see what Nellie comes up with to neutralize Carlos Boozer. That MFer's playing some sick ball. He made Yao look two feet tall. I never thought he'd be this good in the pros.

Me too....Nellie is a genius, but no matter how good a plan he comes up with, the players still need to execute it.

It should be a very good series, like you said, it won't get the press like the Suns/Spurs are getting, but there is going to be some excellent ball played.

An Eastern Conference title and a trip to the Finals. Wasn't his fault Knicks were undermanned against the Spurs Twin Towers. Plus the Riley/Van Gundy Knicks had heart and played defense.

I don't really follow the Knicks that closely, but my far off impression is that Isiah has made several questionable moves. Has he made the team better since he first arrived??? I simply don't know, but I will take your word for it.

Will he make the team a contender in the near future....like you said, time will tell.

I'm NOT an Isaih fan by any means, but it takes time 2 put togethr a good team. I agree with u that he made some strange moves since being in NY. We shall see.

It takes about 12 years to put together a good team neutral.....I'm a Warriors fan so believe me I KNOW lol !

Brain-Dead Dolan + Train-Wreck Thomas = franchise in the toilet. Like Bill Parcells said, "you are what you are". Knicks aren't that much better since Isiah got here. The Knicks were already in salary-cap hell when Isiah got here - he made it worse. And trading our draft pick to the f-n Bulls for a fat center(with a bad heart) who only plays one end of the court is unforgivable.

The biggest problem for the Knicks is Dolan. Once he and his cronies at Cablevision took over, this once-proud franchise went downhill. If Dolan knew what he was doing, he wouldn't have hired Train-Wreck Thomas in the first place. Dolan's way of motivating the team is playing them CDs of his stupid blues band in concert(true story). That's the brain power we have in the front office.

I know I'm a little late for my predictions for the second round, but I'll give it a go anyway:

Detroit over Chicago in 7. I think the Bulls will come back and make this a series.

New Jersey over Cleveland in 7. I'll stick with my original pick.

Utah over Golden State in 6. The Warriors make for a great story, but I don't think they match up nearly as well against Utah as they do against Dallas.

Phoenix over San Antonio in 7. Sticking with my original pick.

This Utah-Golden State game is insane! A nail-biter throughout!

Utah 114-112 with 17 seconds to go.

The Warriors will be OK. The goal is still the same, win one of the first two games in Utah, which is still very possible.

That is always the goal when you open a 7-game series on the road, win at least one of the first two games. That way you steal home-coart advantage and not only do you prove you can beat that team, you prove you can beat them in their own house.

Even if the Warriors lose the next game it ain't ova'. In the Utah/Houston series the home team won every game except game 7. I could handle that, that would mean the Warriors win it in game 7 at Utah.

I think the Warriors need to make a few adjustments (which coach Nellie is a master at). I think they will start Harrington instead of Beadris in game two. Plust I think they will attack even more. The Warriors slowed it down too much at times when Baron Davis was trying to post up Williams.

And my one pet-peeve with the Warriors, stop whining to the refs for a foul call everytime you shoot.
