Yeah they got the good pick but we got a long way to go on a new Arena deal to get them to stay after the 2007-08 season. It could go good or they could go. A lot to be determined. Go Sonics. sad I also heard on the radio today that the Trailblazers are unhappy with their deal in Portland and wanna move here. lol Wild ride, ahead. lol.

I love both Portland and Seattle. I hope both teams kind find the winning formula that made them elite in the 90s. And I hope both stay put in their cities!

Utah is really growing up in these playoffs. It's still a HUGE mountain to climb to make it to the NBA Finals, but these players are gaining valuable experience for the future, regardless of the final result.

This series is starting to shape up like the Houston series. Houston won two relatively close games at home to start, then got slapped around a little in Utah.

I'm really impressed with what the Cavs are doing. People need to give Lebron a break. It took Jordan seven years to get over the hump. Fans expect LeBron to do it just like that. Doesn't work that way for young superstars(Magic was the exception, but look at his supporting cast).

Jazz gave a valiant effort, but SA has too much experience. If Utah continues to improve, watch out for them the next several years.

My Jazz are out after a bitter 5-game series. I'm proud of my team for advancing to the Western Conference Finals after not having made the playoffs for 3 years. The Spurs proved too tough, as I thought they would, even if Game 4 was a bit of a rip off. My hats are off to Utah, and the experienced gained in this postseason will bode well for the future of this rising club.

With Utah advancing this far, Portland with the number 1 pick and Seattle the number 2, things are looking great for the future of my 3 favorite teams.

I hope whoever comes out of the East will win the Championship this year.

That was one of the best NBA playoff performances - a notch below Magic's Game 6 in the '80 Finals. When LeBron's jumper is on, the dude is unstoppable. I've never seen Tayshaun get owned like that.

Like Gibson tonight? :pfft:

23 points in 21 minutes so far with almost perfect shooting from the field, 3pt and from the line?

I'm caught in two minds. I'd love the Cavs to beat the Pistons, but I think Detroit vs. San Antonio would make for a better matchup in the finals. I'd love the Cavs to win it all, but I don't think they could do it against the Spurs. I think Detroit would match up better with them, though I'd still not like them to win the whole thing, only to make for a good series. smile

Wallace is a fucking liability. Grow up.

wave

Not looking good at all now for the Pistons unless they can find some shooting form from somewhere. 5 points in half of a fourth quarter when your playoff future is on the line just doesn't show the character needed. Let's hope they can get back in this one or it's going to be a procession to the end. Looks like Hamilton will have to be the man to do it.

I can't believe how fast these Cavs have grown up in this series. Four straight wins after losing the first two? That's not supposed to happen to the Pistons!

Well this is good for Lebron (it shows he really is the Chosen One) and the city of Cleveland after so many heartbreaks (how many of you remember the Jordan Jump shot!)

Amazing second half from him.

Can't believe how many times the Cavs have got to the line! Even shooting a mediocre percentage that's hurt the Pistons. That and massive gulf in the 3pt shooting and getting owned on the boards 52-33 so far. eek

Lebron has a poor shooting night 3 of 11 from the field but still pours in 20 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Not a bad evening's work. lol

Gibson was just awesome. I'm really impressed with the Cavs this series. I honestly didn't think they had it in them. Pistons are a great team and on paper when you see the quality they have throughout everything looks good, but maybe it's time for a few changes. Normally big game players Billups, Prince and Wallace just didn't show up tonight when needed. There was no way Hamilton was going to do it all by himself, though Webber had a decent game.

Gibson is like the the Cavs Robert Horry, coasts through the regular season and decides to step it up in the playoffs. I really would love to see Lebron get a championship, but the spurs have so many weapons! Hell their bench with could start for half of the teams in the NBA!

I agree. The Spurs are just so sound at everything. I love watching them play. I think it's the way basketball should be played. I just don't see how the Cavs can handle them over a whole series. I've seen plenty of games where the Spurs have been almost perfect for whole halves of games and then been decent in the other two quarters. How can you live with worrying about Duncan inside, knowing that surely at least one or two of either Ginobli, Finley, Bowen, Horry or even Barry will be feeling it from the outside, then also trying to figure out how to stop Parker blowing by you and driving to the rim at will?? lol All the while Oberto and Elson do a decent job rebounding, being a nuisance and blocking the odd shot here and there. Just too deep a team.

Yeah the Spurs so remind me of a team from the 80's (Celtics, Pistons, Lakers) That have so many weapons and depth and on any given night a person who can be a superstar for the game. I've yet to see a playoff Spurs team in recent years have every single player have and off night.
