Doing the math

While I am slowly transitioning off of my Music Studio program into another one, I figured it'd be a good time to rid myself of those drum machines I bought few years back. They never really fit what I was trying to do and then upon switching to a different music genre, simply didn't fit my sound anymore. On top of that I have this mixer with an efx pad in the middle of it that I need to get rid of as well. I really did not get much use out of these things as I would have liked, though I paid about 400 bucks for each. Like buying a new car, these things depriciate once they are used. Fine. I can live with that. But it's time to get rid of them.

I was poking round Guitar Center looking at new keyboards and inquired about selling these to them. I bought them from guitar center as I have with most of my equipment. No make that ALL of my equipment. They told me each goes used for about 120.00 and they would offer me 60.00 per piece. eek That burned my balls! I spent 1200 easily, at their store and now they want to give me 180.00? Fuck that! Considering they would easily mark it up to 200.00. I am pledging to NEVER buy anything other than the occasional cord or adapter from them...and that is only IF I can't get to a radio shack first! Talk about ROBBERY!

So, I am going to ebay. The boxes are going for 120 and the mixer is going for 200. I will be getting a new keyboard, but I will go to a local retailer for that. It may be 10 bucks more, but I can probably talk them down that amount. Even if I can't, knowing that Guitar Center will never see my money again, will be worth it.

It reminds me of when you sold your college books back to the college for chump change and then they would turn around and sell it for like 10 bucks under the full price.

SUCK ME, LICK ME, EAT ME

thank you

I think it's the same reason there is no apostrophe in 2the9s. Acutally the S and the apostrphe are hanging out at S's crib smoking a fat one!

I can't tell if this post is longer than it is boring, or more boring than it is long.
