 to me, he's actually the PERFECT representation of the show. i can sing better than him, and at best i am a decent singer. having someone who is extremely sub-par but pretty in the finals is so telling about not only the show, but the music industry now days as well. Did you watch the news this morning? There was a story about Jennifer Lopez giving the AI contestants advice on how to sing in spanish. I'm like, WTF? Jennifer Lopez??? A no-talent who can't sing in english OR spanish is giving those kids advice.  | |

He's always been a "one note" singer. If it's soft & sweet he's pretty good at it (there's a reason the judges didn't kick him off right away). He just has no range, and it makes him incredibly boring 99% of the time

I turned it on at the end..just as Jennifer Lopez was giving Sanjaya "tips" on how to sing, it looked like the blind leading the blind. Anyways, the reason he did not sound half bad was, even my husband can sing that song well, that is the song he always sings in the shower!!!  | |
