One of my friends said I was the biggest influence on his life.

When I met him, he was a straight edge, homophobic, frat boy. When I got done with him, he was practically my bitch-a real prodigy child. giggle

Oh, also, when my friend Donny told me that I am good at making folks happy.

Although I would disagree, my mother said that I play guitar like Jimi. guitar

I'm very flattered by this because, let's face it, there will never be another guitarist like Hendrix. worship

One of my favorite compliments was one that I overheard someone say.

I was walking by the office of my college jazz choir director, and heard him talking to a colleague on the phone. I wasn't trying to eavesdrop, but I heard him say, "You've met Rani? Oh yes, she's a real sweetheart."

People have told me that to my face, but it meant a lot more to hear someone say it to a colleague, without knowing I was there.
