They're just ordinary people....... So I'm kickin' it with my boy Lamman last friday who is in town shooting a film for Tyler Perry and I am in his kitchen slicing myself some cake before we go out. I come out of the kitchen and there is this woman in a horrible wig introducing herself as Jill...I repeated her name and told her I am Dex as we shook hands. I sat on the couch next to her man and we traded pleasantries and I looked at Jill again and was like...she looks like Jill Scott.
So the next hour of conversation confirmed that she was Jill Scott and while it was a pleasant surprise to meet her; it was even more pleasant to find that she is not some primadonna and was just as down to earth and real and drunk off Bombay Sapphire as the next person. Kudos to her for just being REAL!!! The wig she wore was for the role she is playing in the movie.
