My boss accused me of getting injured on purpose

Yesterday my boss had the fuckin nerve to say that I injured my foot on purpose so I did not have to run a test. His assumption is based on the fact that the incident report says nothing except that I woke up in pain. Well it turns out what I have a rather serious conditon that could have been life threatening (as in killed me in a few weeks). But thankfully they caught it early. And this man wonders why I hate him so! mad

This is harassment and should not be tolerated. If you are in a Union report to your rep. If the harassment continues make notes of all conversations and keep a diary. If legal action is required these will be important.

If you have a HR dept you can report this to the Head of Personnel. His actions should not be tolerated. I have taken companies to Court for behaviour like this.

nod tell him how out of order he is, theres no way hes allowed to suggest such things

lol I got into a wreck with a man about two years ago, and I think the man who was barely touched in his pick up truck was faking being hurt to get worker's comp. He was in his company's truck at the time.....how convenient. lol I wasn't even hurt and my car took the hardest hits. I was so scared at first when he said his leg was in a little pain. I thought "oh noooo, he might try to sue me" eek. Thank god, he didn't.

man, that's messed up. It probably just came from a place of frustration. I understand how frustrating and stressful it can be on a manager or supervisor when they are short on workers because of illness or injury but you can't say stuff like that to an employee. You should definitely report him.
