I was stupid enough to see the first one b/c of Andy Garcia but I'll never see another one if I can help it I couldn't put my finger on it but you have. That's what's wrong with the movies. THERE IS NOTHING HAPPENING!!!! I thank you. M

It is the worst movie I have seen recently. All Kung Fu movies. The genre makes no sense, but it has a cult like following "Old man's gotta be the old man. Fish has got to be the fish."

I like some of Let's Go Crazy, the chorus to Take Me With U, The Beautiful Ones (outrageous genius), Tthe backwards 'Hello How R U? etc', When Doves Cry's four part harmonies and the first two verses & the instrumental coda & fade out to Purple Rain. I like I Would Die 4 U when I'm drunk and I've always disliked Baby I'm A Star except at the Superbowl where it sounded quite wonderful. I like words and adjectives.

Martial arts films over the last five years or so have been incredibly well done. I love Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hero and House Of Flying Daggers. Even something as silly as Curse Of The Golden Flower is watchable.

I may be wrong but the kung fu genre that was being referred to was probably Saturday morning kung fu theater type movies.....high flying, death defying long distance kicks..... My fave, believe it or not, is Iron Monkey....its not cinematically good as CT, HD but the action sequences are a modern take on KF theater.....Tiger was good, but after the first time I saw it, it has the uncanny knack to put me right to sleep about a third of the way thru.....but they are all beautifully done films...the cinematography is awesome and the effects are fun to watch.....
