I absolutely hate this piece of trash movie. i didn't like it or hate it. it was a little long, though. i like all kevin smith's movies, but i don't think i've seen any of them more than once. Despite the fact that he still can't direct for shit, I dig Kevin Smith. Mallrats is unwatchable, but Clerks is good, LOVE Chasing Amy, may never see the one about the little girl, & the Jay & Silent Bob schtick is getting old for me. Wait, maybe I need to rethink my admiration for him I really only like 2 of his films! But I think he is/can be a good writer, I love his dialogue @ times...

He didn't - the oscar was for the Clint Eastwood flick Pretty much anything w/ Leonardo DiCaprio in it (except Blood Diamond..great movie!)....
Aww, don't dog him b/c he gets the sickening teeny-bopper love He's great in Basketball Diaries & What's Eating Gilbert Grape Didn't have as much to do in Scorcese's latest, that was just a good movie... I really think Titanic ruined him for some people He's a good actor...

I have to say I HATED 'Gladiator'. I thought the dialog was inane. I'm not too fond of Sandler movies either, though everyone else seems to like them. Occupy Alphabet Street!

I disagree with the dislike of Gladiator....I love the fight scenes....I agree that the dialogue is a bit so I turn down the sound and watch the moving pictures..... as far as Sandler, the only movie I like is The Waterboy...sure its low brow and dumb, but sometimes I just want to watch a dumb funny movie.... M Count me in on that - I guess if I was in a really REALLY good mood I could watch actors play around w/ ridiculous sums of money when the shit isn't even interesting (I know it happens all the time, but there's something especially gaudy about this franchise - maybe that Soderberg is @ the helm yet there's NOTHING HAPPENING). I was stupid enough to see the first one b/c of Andy Garcia but I'll never see another one if I can help it
