I'm not buying the Cylon thing, I think its a red herring of some sort. Just cause you hear All Along The Watchtower doesn't make you a Cylon.

I think the Cylon is the one having the same dreams as 6 and Athena.

And of course you have to love the Earth Shot, Asia? No, Africa? No, Europe? No.....N.America, of course!!!!

Now we have to wait till 2008 before the new season. I liked it much better when they had 2 mini seasons.

I think we've started to suggest that some might have their own agendas. D'Anna certainly had her own agenda, and it ended up getting her boxed. I think there are divisions within the Cylon nation itself, and I think those divisions and fissures will only grow as the fourth season goes on.

Do those factions have leaders? Cavil seemed to be a little bit more knowing...
I think certain leadership will start to develop on both sides of the divide.

And what can you tell people to tide them over in the long, lonely months between this finale and the beginning of next season?
Well, they'll certainly have enough to chew on. I expect there will be a whole range of reactions to this finale. I suspect they'll either love it or hate it. The reaction when people see the finale should certainly carry us along for a while, and then I'll just try to make a concerted effort to blog more and go on message boards a bit more and keep contact with the fans and give stuff for them to chew on.

Well, since Starbuck obviously exploded in outer space and now is back wouldn't that make her a ...? I know there wasn't a resurrectionship around, but who know what the frak the final 5 can do. Or is Lee because he sees her? Great episode of course, but I thought that crap-ass version of 'All along' sucked.

Anyway, they gotta be kidding with this early 2008 sh*t. Even me as a fan will have forgotten about it by then.

Here in Denmark we're only at the first season. I kinda like the series. I hope I get to see the second and third seasons, too.

Also with this 2008 bit was hopefully put on the season finale when Sci Fi had only order 13 episodes the week of the final show, the producers were given the go ahead for a full 22, so maybe (fingers crossed) it will happen in the fall instead of spring.

Well the writers are seemingly giving a wide berth to the final 5 cylons, They aren't from the same group of cylons, toasters or skin-jobs that we have seen thus far in the seasons. It just seems the writers are basically saying that the rules that apply to the original cyclons do not apply to the final 5. So with the baby who knows where they are going with it. I have a feeling its going to be a total mind fuck or a really really lame story that trainwrecks.

Michael Straczynski did not know if there was going to be a season 5, in fact I think he believed there was not going to be a fifth season. So he crammed all he could (basically finishing the story he originally had just in case) into season 4. Then Season 5 was pretty anti-climatic and seemed to strech for a new sotry line.

Maybe the same was the case for Battlestar Galactica, they did not know if they only had 13 episodes left to finish out the story so how were they going to proceed?

I just thought that calldapplwondery83 might be referring to bommer/haira's (spelling?) baby that I thought was born first that is definitely Cylon/Human.

Oh sorry bout the confusion. I would say that the since the cylons that we know of aren't aware of who the final five are they don't even know the baby exist.

Also I never really understood why the Cylons allowed Boomer/Athena and Caprica 6 to take Hera away from the basestar anyway without any attempts thus far to get the kid back, if she is so important.

The two "extra" episodes featuring the Pegasus crew will not pick up directly from the huge cliffhanger we have at the end of season three...but will set up some things in season 4..... ...sounds interesting if done correctly.
