Once when I was younger I was in the backyard playing.
A bumblebee was flying around and I absentmindedly took a swing at it with a baseball bat that I was playing with. NOT expecting to actually make contact.
Now...bear in mind that I am just about THE most un-athletic person you've ever seen. I couldn't hit a baseball to save my life.
BUT...somehow I managed to hit the bumblebee and - had it been a ball - I would've made a homerun.

Ladybugs, fireflies, butterflies and Rolly polly bugs. I'm sure that's not their actual name, but when I was a kid, I used to love picking them up and watching them roll into a ball in my hand.
