If you took an honest look at your life,
do you hide a part of yourself behind a painful illusion you created ?

Is there more pain in remaining behind the illusion then the pain that may have caused you to create it ?

speak for yourself, that is not true.

There are definitely things in my past that have caused and to some extent still cause much pain, but I am about as open as they come with what I'm feeling....I tend to be an open book because I believe that by talking about it and dealing with it helps the understanding of it...

...unlike people who become so adept at hiding that they don't even really know themselves anymore....

...so in a less longwinded way, I'd say NO....

um...can we start being a little more specific? lol

please do rose

I meant could the question be more specific...or the answers...because I wasn't really sure where you were coming from, but everyone else seemed to lol ...because they respond with equally vague and mysterious answers...except for the Elton John ballad answer

I wouldn't know how to answer without a clearer idea of where the question was coming from

maybe people hide behind illusions, but the illusions aren't painful. maybe that's what confuses me
