harvey pekar american splendour

the catcher in the rye poster

mingus-ah yeah

all framed on me wall-no blue tack 4 me!!!

when you all come round for a cup of tea you can see em!

That's brilliant, I love it!


I love love LOVE his work and am planning to pick up a few more pieces in the next year or so. All of my good friends collect his stuff. lol He does local scenery of Minneapolis and St Paul and has just added a few Chicago pieces. I love the city I live in and he captures places people have a real fondness for.

You know I love fish and I picked this up in Vietnam..



I got this one too in Vietnam in the hotel art gallery
(there is a lil fish on it.. wink )




This I picked up in Poland, its a poster for a theatre and framed at home
(My *Gentlemans club* - as JD calls it lol - wallpaper I brought back from China and bankrupt me in excess luggage charges mad )



In my bedroom
This is a big scroll hand painted that I got in China, I have two smaller versions framed in dark wood on my bedroom walls also
