My House Key Broke!! I arrived home from shopping and went up my steps to the door of my home. I put the key in the lock and proceeded to unlock the door. As I turned the key the key snapped in two! 
Luckily I had a spare key - phew!!

Glad U had a spare key Thoughts of went through my head on how I was going to get the half of it out of the lock. It was sticking far out enough I was able to grab on the piece and pull it out of the key hole.

Another trick is to keep a small tube of superglue in your purse. Put a tiny dab of superglue on the piece of key you have, stick it in, wait a moment for the glue to set, and then turn the key and pull it out.  The Normal Whores Club | |

Actually, one time I did need them when the pet sitter needed to get into my house to feed my cats. If I didn't have those keys available, the poor cats would probably have starved to death. Always a good idea to have a spare set of keys, because you never know when you're going to need them.RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |
