What are your pets' names? We just got a lilac-point Manx kitten and are mulling over names. He looks something like this kitten I found online...
Initially, my daughter thought "Cafe" was a cute name. So did I. I'm still calling the kitten Cafe (although I'm starting to like the name "Etienne"). My wife is calling him "Toonces" (after the driving cat from the SNL sketches  ), and my daughter seems to use a new name each day, including "Sushi," "Milkshake," "Chuck" and "Lucky."

I thought it might be fun to give the cat a ridiculously inappropriate name like "Rev. Dr. Nestor Rodriguez," or something. I don't think that'd fly, though.  Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

i had a cat named Toonces once , so your wife is spot-on! 
our dogs are named Murphy (Brown) and (Foxy) Roxie. our cat's name was Taz because he was a pissy little thing. then there was Basia Bird, and Jackie and FloJo, the bunnies. i suck at picking names... | |

Lucius Claudius Nero Ahenobarbus Lentulus... Long name. Ahenobarbus I added as a cognomen before I even knew what it meant, and Lentulus I added after I got to know him and knew that Lentulus was a cognomen for "a bit slow." I just call him "Nero" though.
We have Pogo the cat as well. Sam Fischer the tarantula... And Heinrich the betta. Edit: Pogo's full name is Pogo Quincy Rounds. [Edited 3/17/07 20:03pm] This one's for you. | |

My pets are named whatever I'm calling them or telling them at that point. I mean they have names, but they probably don't know them anyway. 
List of possible names my animals believe they are called: -STOPITALREADY!!! -Psycho -Moron -You farted again
