I used to have a mullet and loved a-Ha

Oohhhh man... As a kid I was the girliest girl you'd ever meet, except my taste... I shudder now. Really.

1. There were these ruffly, ruffly, pale blue (and extremely unflattering to my skin tone at that) dresses in my closet that I got from someone else. I always wanted to wear them, but they were so frighteningly...poufy!

2. I had a bunch of makeup to play in - easy to wash off cream eyeshadows, blushes, lipsticks, etc. Well, my favorite blush was this orangey color that again clashed with my skin. The lipstick I liked best was a bright red bordering on pinkish...not my favorite shade of red anymore. And lastly, my favorite eyeshadow was blue and extremely shimmery. And I liked to wear it heavily all the way up to my eyebrows. Mind you I wore all this makeup together...I must've looked pretty scary, but I thought it was amazing.

I had bad taste in many things as a kid, but I'm not gonna talk about the rest.

I'd say Backstreet Boys, but after some heavy thought over drinks with my best friend one day, we realized just how surprisingly much we owe to those pre-fab five. Seriously. I can never hate them or be embarassed for liking them again.

I'm pretty sure Brian Connelly died of alcholism a few years ago. The bass player (Steve Priest) is probably soon to follow. The drummer died not too long ago of cancer (RIP Mick Tucker) and the guitarist tours as "Andy Scott's Sweet".
