This is a picture of Calvin of Calvin & Hobbes fame thinking of evil things. Probably something involving a rocket launcher. This is what I call my eternal avatar; it was my first and it always keeps returning. Often people look over me if I have another one. And WHY? Becuz my account name is ALSO taken from Calvin & Hobbes. It all neatly ties in. | |

it's a cropped insert of the Virgin Mary from Crucifixion by Matthias Grünewald. I like it because she looks incredibly self-possessed and peaceful, in a completely different world than the rest of the painting. | |

It referred to failing in regards to my other thread, but I thought that in fact it would be silly to say it since I was actually being completely sincere and not humouring at all. I do miss wearing hoodies too. Your av reminds me of me on the back of the Kiwi Experience bus in my own little world. With hoodie or a beanie hat, that's where you'd find me, thinking about Buddhism and eastern philosophy during my complete loner stage. | |

I just found this old NZ pic and took a photo of it. i'm looking pretty pleased with myself in my beanie
Shame I left the one of me on the bus looking all snug in my hoodie and shut off from everything. I love that pic and indeed that time in my life. | |
