I'm reading a work in progress. It's a children's book written by a friend of mine. The first 100 pages are finished and she estimates that she has another 30-40 pages left to go. She's very talented and it's a privilege to get a preview like this.

Hey! The book holds three plotlines: one with cryptoanalysis at the time of WWII, cracking the german and Japanese codes (enigma and such) to satisfy the geek part of me. In the same timeperiod we follow some hot-shot Marine in the Philipines. Then there is some modern day 'net stuff, but which revolves around the decendants of the WWII characters. It's my second read, I missed a ton of details in the first one.
