What excuses have you used for a sick day? Saying a relative was on their last legs is a good one as you can go back to work and not have to pretend that you were ill, Nice add on benefit I think, 1 U.S. Dollar = 34 Bahts

Not really my style.
I might louch on welfare every now and then when I think I need to reserve some personal time for myself, but when I am working for someone I take it very seriously. | |

I don't give excuses for sick days, however because I manage a team I am the recipient of the excuses....everyone's favorite seems to be "I ate some bad seafood"....
That excuse affords them the opportunity to claim they had a bad night in the restroom, and felt drained (literally and figuratively speaking!) the next day, Hence, cannot come in to work. But, like magic, they are completely well the following day....voila! The perfect excuse! "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive."

the worst was when i called in and said i'm a vegetarian and i accidentally ate some meat and got sick. i was really hung over and that was the best i could do. | |
