So I finally found a practical use for the Org--job networking.

I'm looking to relocate to Southern California this fall and give my dream of working in the entertainment world a do-or-die shot.

I've been the managing editor of an alt-weekly newspaper, freelanced for oodles of publications (including Detroit's Metro Times and Real Detroit) and have been a syndicated film critic. I obviously have the experience, now I just need the contacts in SoCal.

That's where you lot come in.

Anyone work for a media company or film studio? I'd love to do marketing or PR for anything related to the movie biz. If you work in the biz, pay it forward and help me accomplish my dream!!
