The exorcist isnt a horror film. its a family comedy.

I had an exorcist karaoke party for my 21st. good times...

i'll watch horror movies but usually i just think they're dumb and not very scary. amityville horror scared me when i was a kid. the exorcist was well done, but it made me giggle. POLTERGEIST scared the crap out of me, and probably would again if i watched it. that may be the only one i really truly consider scary. the clown under the bed, man. ugh.

I like 'horror' movies because usually they're absolutely hilarious instead of scary. Especially the ones from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and the past seven years.

If I am really even remotely freaked out by a movie, it's usually a psychological thriller, not what most people consider to be horror. Most things labeled "horror" make me laugh into my popcorn bowl. Although sometimes I am horrified at the fact that the movie scared someone enough for it to qualify. But I can't choose a favorite...don't remember any well enough.

Blair Witch Projectthe last scene did it for me, again sleeping with the lights on.
