a year ago today, the wonderousness of The Circle Of Sexxy came to be. time's going by fast, it still seems like it happened just yesterday for me! for those of ya'll who weren't there in chicago when everything all went down, read these two threads:

I've loved and wanted to meet Dansa for like 97 years now. Even though it was much too brief, y'all left a great impression on me.

I'm so glad I made it too. There were blizzard conditions for half of my drive from Detroit and I hadn't had any sleep the night before (surprise, surprise).

As much as the show was absolutely killer, it was even more important to reconnect with friends, make some new ones and take care of my girl Ivy.

It's so funny. Folks wait in line for hours and then half of them run to the bar or the bathroom before securing a spot. And half of those who were left just ran to center stage. I always know where Prince is gonna be cuz of his guitar setup. For as many custom guitars and sound effects as Prince has, it always amazes and excites me that he just has a bunch of regular-ass Boss guitar pedals as his main gear in front of his mic. Makes me feel like I can relate to the man!
