setting in to make a pie

those strawberries look a tad under ripe...add an extra 2 tsp of sugar.

they look perfect to me, i'd eat them just like that yummy

i used to hate rhubarb when i was a kid. i bet it's something that i'd like now that i'm an adult.

i would eat them too... but in a pie. i would still add a tad of sugar

and as a kid i would go out and eat a stalk right off the plant lol
mind you after the first couple bites i would come in and dip in in sugar

the only thing i was allowed to eat from the yard when i was out playing was nectar from thistles, or whatever those purple things were where you'd pull out the little petal things and suck the nectar off the end.

we even had a cherry tree in the back yard and i was forbidden to eat any of the cherries. my mom told me they might be poison, and even if they didn't make me sick, if she caught me eating one she'd whip my ass anyway.
